FitEar TO GO! & Universal Series --- Suyama's custom IEM, made universal! - Page 139

They could probably go with clear for the new TO GO, and it'd look nicer, more like their customs. I like the new circular pin stays, though.

They should keep doing their universals in black because micro-bubbles and imperfections would be more obvious in clear!

About the new pin stays, it reminds me of OCTOPUS for some reason -_-

So the new 334's were shown at the show, no time frame on release. I did not try it (DOH!!) but Suyama-san says that they will sound the same as the original 334's and I'm willing to take his word for it :-

Meanwhile those titanium 334's were -NOT- fake. But it was more done by Suyama-san for fun. Don't expect it to be released :-).

They actually sounded decent :D.

I bet the full titanium shell would give that pair some sound variation from the original shells. Wonder if it would be for the better, or worse, though.

I doubt housing effect sound for BA drivers, however the nossle might. But the nossles are titanium to begin with.

It does. But I've not heard the original TG!334s for so long I'm somewhat reluctant to compare in case I got it wrong. Not to mention I listened to -many- headphones today and probably got all the signatures confused :D.

However Suyama-san himself did say that they sound different and some further (dampening) tuning may be required. But it's personal pair so really wouldn't matter to the rest of us anyway.

So Suzuma-san (I'd rather call him sama lol) was saying his pair was personalized both in and outside?

It'd be interesting to know what type of dampening he was referring to (acoustics or electronics).
