Are you using stock tips? Probably a tip like the Ortofons will offer a better seal and a somewhat deeper insertion without being too detrimental to the sonics, some actually prefer the sonics with the Ortofons tips. Allow a bit of grime (sorry) onto the tips and with a little body heat, after about 3-5mintues, the tips grips really well in the ear canals!

This is one top tip tip, and my experience excactly. Very easy to insert and very comfortable to my ears.

My Intruder just in. Out of the box impression vs the Continental, using 334s, massive disapointment! I'll burn in now and post later. Feels like the Continental is staying at moment. Also made me miss my alo cable. Where has all the high mid and treble gone?? I'll give it 150 hrs and see before I sell wink.gif

Still thinking of which to get, the fitear 334, c435 or the jh3a. Hmm I wonder what would happen if they put drew phase on a fitear custom/universal. smily_headphones1.gif

An older FitEar CIEM no one (including FitEar themselves) talks about much these days, apparently. Personally it would be my second choice after the Monet, but alas, they wont deal with overseas customers.

Out of curiosity where does the MH335DW fit into your preferences?

I haven't had the privilege of actually hearing any of these CIEMs, so my preferences are pretty arbitrary all things considered. Mostly it has to do with which intrigue me the most, and in that case the MH335DW would be my third choice.

I'd love to try any of them, really.

Just looked on the Fitear site and could not find it. Is it a production unit?

As far as I know Suyama-san only built a prototype unit of them then decided not to commercialize the design. Some old HF member heard the 668 and the feedback wasn't that positive though.

Thanks for that info. There is a 50/50 chance I'll be going to Tokyo in March. I don't suppose my fellow H.Fs and 334 owners, you know what's going thru my mind?  The MH335DW ~ YESSSSSSS !L3000.gif

i am really considering the 334 however is it a great step up from customs like the jh13. And does the treble have some sparkle when needed?
