Did you try the Triad on high gain? I bet it will have a hint of hiss on that setting. Although pretty much not an issue during music playback which is where that setting is most desirable anyways. Really brings things to life on the Triad :).

Also got my Firestone Power Supply and I have to say it is a nice step up from my wall wart. Definitely more micro-detailing and I could tell right off the bat regarding the treble extension and detail. The sound is faster now, in comparison to the former which felt a bit slower. Bass seems to be more controlled, goes deeper, more quality. Sound stage placement has improved.

@Sara it kinda sounds like Viscer maybe demoed a Triad unit opposed to owning one, I could be wrong though :).

That's how Lee uses it as you no doubt know. And he uses a DACport LX with it as well.

I'll be trying with various set ups with the L3.

iPod > Fostex HP-P1          > Triad (w & w/o LLP)

MBP > Audio-go NFB-11.32 > Triad  "   "    "    "

iPod > Centrance HIFI M8   > Triad "   "     "    " ( when it get's released)

and then the two with MPB instead of iPod

Lee has promised if I ask nicely I can try all with the DX100 L3000.gif

And of course all of the above with my FT! 334s!

I wish I would have bought it later.. My 334 hiss with ipad, iPhone 4S, iPod 6th generation, samsung s3 and almost all my amp except dacport 1 ohm mod and zana deux.. Hiss is pretty obvious. And base on your description, where u mention that the clarity is better than akg3003 really amaze me.. There is quite a bit of change on the latest batch.. No doubt.

My FitEar ToGo 334 was purchased in June from http://musicaacoustics.com/. The serial number is 082617. Can anyone with the latest batch TG334 chime in with their serial number? I might even want to sell my TG334 to get a TG334 in the latest batch.

Pico slim and pico dac amp fir are neutral and natural amp , they does not colored my fit ear 334

They make the high more clear and detail , and overall better tonal balance
