hiss hiss hiss

How can I deal with it...

It's very annoying especially because I like low-level listening. I am listening at 1/10-1/12 of full Ipod classic volume

Oh I though it was China? Or Taiwan. Something about a certain time for $1000 deal on the IEMs if you join a membership...

The ipod won't bring it to it's full potently anyways. Why not use it as an excuse to get the best out of it and upgrade your source. A polished turd is just a shiny turd in the end ;).

Hong Kong. I guess that's technically China. Mingo-HMW is a headphone megastore there.

And I might add that Dimitri (owner) is very responsive, knowledgeable  and helpful. In fact as I write he and I have been corresponding while he is at the Denver show.

I cannot say enough good things about his customer service. I would be happy to share my experiences with you with his company vs another which was a nightmare. Just PM me. However, the dealers you are considering buying from are not the one I did prior to Musica Acoustics so no worries.

Much more qualified people than I have wrote about these fantastic sounding IEMs. Some have said they equal top quality full size phones. I wouldn't know about that but what I do know is they are out of this world good. If you are not looking for the base-head experience you will love them.

hmmm...interesting, the uniqueness maybe a positive or negative for me. But ive learned a lot on hearing other brands that sometimes the out of this world for some may not be for me or others. But if its better than my incoming ciem stage3, which on this date have never anything like it, I might stand to your praise.

I might also go with musicaacoustics for this iem.

You should talk to uelover on this forums. He picked up a pair of TG!334s after listening to mine (whilst I was on transit in Singapore). In the end he did sell them 'cos of fit size however if the Singapore Head-Fiers do a meet, you may get a chance to listen to them before deciding to buy them or not. Ping uel, find out to whom he sold the IEMs to and see if they're interested in a meet - maybe get other Singapore Head-Fiers to meet too.

My point is even connecting your ipod to all those things and you are still having problems with it. My DX100 doesn't hiss at all on low gain, it's a black background and sounds better than those 3 piece solutions as a one unit piece. I thought you also said your ipod hisses? Sounds like everything in that set up is working against you. ipods are ok but nothing special and won't make those fit ears truly sing ;).

Bizarre, that's a shame that your iPod hisses. My Touch doesn't hiss, but I do hear a very, very, very, very silent "crackle". Bit annoying.
