I think that the new faceplate of CIEM will have a new design connector. They also change the surface finished from glossy to matte. I'm not sure that it will happen to all color but at least black is matte. They already start putting the new faceplate on to their CIEM. One of our members already got his MH335DW with the new design faceplate last week. My MH335DW should be here next week and I choose transparent faceplate. We'll see that I'll get the new design faceplate or not.

Looks really uncomfortable though lol. I had some comfort issues with the AKGs due to the metal housing...

I just checked my MH335DW and the black faceplate is matte finish.

Also I think the new 334 design is cool. I like matte finish.

It's not really metal.

The 334 is real of course, but it's doubtful the housing is titanium or even metal at all. More likely ALCAD finished as I said.

I think their customs have always had matte finish faceplates. Only the universals had the lacquered faceplates.
