Ah, "The Intruder"! Please tell me more! What do you use to drive it "on-the-go"? iDevice with a LOD, or iDevice/CLAS. If CLAS -db, single-ended or balanced? I thought
"The Intruder" was too powerful for low impedance IEMs, such as the 334, no? What about hiss, no? Please let me know the details of your portable rig so that I can ask more relevant questions. What exactly is the 000? Thank you!
I use an iPod Classic - CLAS-dB - Intruder stack and the Intruder's been amazing with my IEMs. Recently listened to my MH335DWs on the Intruder on low gain and I cannot hear any hiss whatsoever. Ray Samuels has really hit this one out of the park.
And the 000 cable is an SPC cable upgrade made by FitEar.
What cables do you use to stack the iPod to the CLAS and on to "The Intruder". Are there any benefits to use the balanced ports?
