I use an iPod Classic - CLAS-dB - Intruder stack and the Intruder's been amazing with my IEMs. Recently listened to my MH335DWs on the Intruder on low gain and I cannot hear any hiss whatsoever. Ray Samuels has really hit this one out of the park.

And the 000 cable is an SPC cable upgrade made by FitEar.

What cables do you use to stack the iPod to the CLAS and on to "The Intruder". Are there any benefits to use the balanced ports?

So the new FitEar TO GO! will have a new shell as reported (here or somewhere else? I can't remember). Here's how the new TO GO! will look like (note pix shamelessly linked to FitEar's blog) :-

I'm sure they made the changes for wholly practical reasons having to do with durability among other factors, but I'm not liking the new look so much thus far.

The official translation (thank you to my wife) is matte is supposed to attract less fingerprints, more scratch-proof and therefore retaining a more luxurious. I guess it's entirely a matter of personal taste ;-).

However if they have a more durable connector for their custom series (as per the blog), I'd be surprised if they didn't use that same durable connector for the TO GO! series.

So this is the reason why all the shipment of new TG334s are delayed. e-earphone told me that the availability of the new batch has been put back to the end of March. V0 post a picture of his new MH335DW and I can see that their already use the new connector.

"Rumour Has It"....that they ran out of parts for the original TG!334 (and F111?? This one I'm less certain) and had to source new component makers. Presumably then, an opportunity for a new design.

I just couldn't care as long as they deliver on sound! Maybe the 334 no longer will be hand made as to be able to meet the demand. I sure hope it won't mean a degradation in SQ... !?

If it does, it'll be quite contrary to normal Japanese practice and even more so for FitEar's.

The blog post did say that there's not gonna be any change in sound quality.

I liked the glossy look too; now the color of cable connector is doesn't match the body's color :/

The old glossy material was indeed a fingerprint magnet though.

Yes, but it probably is going to take a long time before we have a trustworthy independent source to truly verify this. Sigh... even more waiting... It is not that I don't trust FitEars intentions but whether they will really succeed to maintain the SQ or not.

Agree, I wouldn't want one iota changed about the sound I'm getting with my pair. It needs to be kept sonically intact, 110%!
