Also re: FitEar, they were really awesome about it as well. The soonest it arrives at their offices I can get it, which is 10am Thursday, 31st.

Also re: Dog, I don't have one...

Also re: 435 vs. 335 the 335 images better for me, as a guy who likes metal and hearing all the instruments. The 435 has a different flavor that I don't go for.

Agreed...was with V0 today & although I can see why there may be some 435 enthusiasts, it's personally not for me.

Okay, this might be old news, but i was told by pricejapan that the ToGo334 is "not available".

It is also no longer on the fitear.jp site.

Can anyone shed light on this? Will there be a new version or have they just simply stopped making them?

The demand is too high and they can't make it fast enough. TG334 has been out of stock for months.

 

I just pre-order one for my brother here in japan and the website say it prepare for shipping.

Yeah, the demand for FitEar's universals is really high. I ordered an F111 back in November, and it wont be shipping until mid-February.

Anybody compared the original cable and the 000 cable? What's the difference? I'm planning to get a second pair of these with 000 cable, which cost me about 1800 dollars, wondering if the improvement can justify the price.

The difference is depth and low range. Search my name on this thread, I did a comparison over both stock, alo and 000. 000 really delivers despite its horrible price point.

In short, if you need more depth go 000, want more sparkle go alo. Imo.

Just (January 28th, 2013) got this from ALO Audio:

 

"Aero Dynamik,

 

We recently heard from FitEar and it sounds like they have been adjusting the way they build the 334. We are waiting for news on when they will have the 334 back into production but at the moment there is not a definitive date to have them back in stock.

I use an iPod Classic - CLAS-dB - Intruder stack and the Intruder's been amazing with my IEMs. Recently listened to my MH335DWs on the Intruder on low gain and I cannot hear any hiss whatsoever. Ray Samuels has really hit this one out of the park.

And the 000 cable is an SPC cable upgrade made by FitEar.

The Intruder has no hiss whatsoever on the 334 and it seems to handle the lcd3 with ease, even before my balanced cable has arrived.

 

my setup: ipod 160 classic, whiplash twag v2 lod, algorythmsolo, alo sxc 22 mini mini, intruder, 000 iem cable, 334, ortofon tips.
