Macbook Pro speakers or Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX speakers?

I am going to buy a Macbook Pro later on this year when I get the money, and I would like to know if it would be worth it to buy the external speakers also. And I am buying Sony MDR-ZX700 headphones soon, for what it's worth.

My MacBook Pro sounds great for a notebook. Of course, that's a bit like saying that a woman is (physically) attractive for a woman with a full beard and a third hand growing out of her chest. It's a pretty low bar. There's only so much you can do with the built-in speakers of a notebook computer.
