Just ordered Alessandro MS1i

Hi guys, first poster here (:

 

I just ordered the alessandro MS1i's from  http://www.alessandro-products.com/main.php?p=headphones,

and have got some questions!

 

1.

Is there any way I could get a tracking number for these babies? I feel kind of in the dark with no confirmation at all from the folks over at alessandro, just my paypal confirmation...

 

2.

Should I buy new pads for 'em, or are the stock ones fine? L or quartered HD414's seem to be the best bet otherwise?

If yes: where to get L  pads or (preferably black) 414's? I'm Belgian, so mainland Europe / UK would be awesome.

With regard to the pads--give them a try first; decide about the pads after you have used them for a while.

 

The Grado family are a bit unique with regard to how they feel on your head--and even how they smell.

1. They will email you a tracking number after they ship it out.
2. Stock ones are fine, super comfortable. Do quarter mod if you want a little more midrange and less muffled bass as well as transparent-er highs

I find the yellow senn 414 pads to be extremely similar to the stock pads. Perhaps the 414s make your ears itch a tad bit less. Also if you get replacement pads, you can fool around with quarter modding etc. They are all over ebay - thats where I got mine.
