Help choosing between these budget headphones?

Hi head-fi, I'm a beginner looking for some budget headphones of around 30 dollars, I listen mostly to instrumental, electronic, and rock music. I had my eye on these headphones: Sennheiser HD 202, Monoprice 8323, Panasonic HTX7, and the JVC HARX 300. Has anyone had any experience with these, or suggest better headphones? Thanks!

Also you can always add Velor ear pads (Beyerdynamic EDT 200) to the HTF600-S for $20.

Thanks for the suggestion, those do seem to fit my purposes rather well.If there's no other suggestions, I think I'll be purchasing them :) I see it on Amazon for 44$, should I expect the price to drop if I wait?

Maybe just me, but i really like the 8323's. there a great throw-around can, and for the price, they sound pretty damn good.

The price has gone up a bit on the Panasonics, but they are good sounding for around your price range.

None of those.
Look for a used ksc35 if your preference is acoustic/rock
Otherwise a sennheiser px 100 ii will do the job for pop/ hip hop/ electronica
Other suggestions include the koss ur40 and the jvc harx700
The latter being only 40 new on amazon, great cans.

One of the listings on Amazon is down to $41.37, free shipping.

Go for it.

I find these with a noticeable mid-bass hump, why so quick to recommend?
Lay out the choices first.

I disliked those Panasonics quite a lot, so I would suggest looking at something else, like the Superlux 681 or JVC HARX700.  Read a few threads and user reviews of them here at headfi.

What about the Monoprices?

+1 for the Superlux--although I will add that if you can afford about 2 x your current budget, you start to hit the price points of some really sweet phones.

How many owners of the Panasonic RP-HTF600-S regret buying them?

How many other low cost headphones can you buy Velour pads for for only $20?

Let's see. Me and Kerry already. It's safe to assume there's more out there.
Alll I am saying is to inform the OP of what he should consider.
Why don't you just buy the pads separately? And attach them to a ksc35, they'll blow the pannys out of the water.
