For Sale:
SOLD: Woo Audio WEE (Woo Electrostatic Energizer)

Will Ship To: CONUS

For sale is a Woo Audio WEE.  The WEE, similar to the Stax SRD-7, is a solid state transformer box that allows you to use a speaker amplifier to drive Stax electrostatic headphones.  It represents an effective economy solution for driving electrostats (and is also capable of powering speakers), though the sound quality will very much depend on the quality of the speaker amplifier upstream to the WEE.  I’ve personally been using it with a Virtue Audio TWO.2 T-amp (though it can be used with any speaker amplifier with 3 watts per channel output).  For more information on the WEE, please see the following link (

I am the original owner of this amplifier, having purchased it directly from Woo Audio in October of 2011.  The serial number is 1011029.  The unit has two Pro Bias jacks (I did not ask for a Normal Bias jack), and is configured for US 115v.  It has approximately 75 hours of use.

The WEE has been treated well, and has been covered with a cloth to prevent dust accumulation when not in use.  The item is in excellent condition, with no visible scratches, paint loss or fading.  I live in a pet-free, child-free and smoke-free environment.

My reason for sale is that I am anticipating a BHSE being delivered within the next three to four months, so I’ll no longer need the WEE.  I would like to see it go to a good home where it will get some use.

The WEE will be sold in the original packaging (cardboard box, foam inserts).  It did not come with a power cord or speaker cables.

I am asking for $SOLD, inclusive of shipping.  I would appreciate if the buyer could cover the 3% PayPal fee.

The item will be shipped via FedEx Ground.  The item has already been carefully packaged, and can be shipped the next business day after payment is received.  For now, I would like to keep this within CONUS, though this is subject to change based on the level of interest.

Please feel free to PM me with any questions you may have.

Thank you for your time and consideration.
