I have been using Shure SE535 for like 2 months, and it was awesome.Back to topic,so what should i get?

when i read tyll from innerfidelity Sennheiser 800 review ( the last page). He explained that the audeze LCD 3 give a natural bass sound(which i love from music is bass).

LCD-3 has a generally thicker sound signature all round which extends into the bass area - they do reach fairly low

and the bass is quite enjoyable.

Hope you have some sizable cash for a quality source and amp though - the LCD-2 needs it too but the LCD-3

will go from craptastic to fantastic depending on your selection in that department.

Hi and welcome to head-fi,

IMHO, you may wanna have a read more of the LCD threads floating around and if you get a chance demo them. From your post, am I correct that you're thinking of jumping from the SE535 to one of the LCDs? (Note: By jumping I didn't mean discarding the SE535s).

You may wanna bear in mind the cost of a matching/appropriate amp to drive either of the LCDs get the most out of it. The whole cost could go right up.

Yep, auditioning is key - seen many a prospective Audeze fan sit down to audition their dream headphone

only to realise that the fit and clamping of the big planar woodies is not something they can live with for

more than 10 minutes at any given time.

That's the benefit of a meet - you might discover another headphone that you never considered before.

Is the LCD-3 easier to drive than LCD-2? They have a higher sensitivity..

LCD-3: 93dB, 50 ohm..

LCD-2: 91dB, 60 ohm...

"I find the LCD-3s a tad easier to drive than the R2s (which in turn were a bit harder to drive than the LCD-2 R1s)."

So you're saying LCD-2 r1 is same same driving as as LCD-3, whilst the LCD-2 r2 is a tad more demanding.

Yes, in terms of power. Synergy wise, the LCD-3s are harder to drive than either the r.1 or r.2 LCD-2 IMO.

That means that it is harder to get a nice amp-match for the 3's than for the 2's....

Anyway - the reports of failing and veiled drivers in the New Audeze LCD3 thread has given me second thoughts about wanting the 3's...

Looks like the newly released ones are much more consistent with the non-veiled sound signatures. Luckily mine have been perfects since I got them last November.

So the early ones are the risky ones in the second hand market... and Audez'e's getting a grip on the QC- is that sort of a common understanding nowadays?

Seems like the second major batch released had the worst problem (post the release batch of the 11-11-11). I got my pair from the very first batch (so did Skylab, Jude and dminches). So far about 4 or 5 have gotten replacements recently and all have reported good things.
