In my experience, the T1 is a better all rounder (i.e. it suits more music, games, movies, etc well) However, the LCD-2 just engages you and lets you enjoy almost any kind of music so depends what your primary use is gonna be.

I'll keep this very short. They are very smooth sounding. Treble toned down so not so good for rock but have a magic about them that makes them better than mark 2. I use them with a '89/'90...

Bought these on whim, for your basic train ride to work I don't mind. But its far from being the best I have own.

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

Nearly. It's almost perfect. Only thing lacking is a touch of sub bass, but otherwise it comes closer than any other headphone I've yet tried. The HD800's would be another top pick for me, but whilst they have slightly more sub bass, they also have less mid bass, and that punch is highly desirable on a lot of modern music, electronica, dance etc. Also find the T1's vocals and high's to actually be a touch sweeter despite that peak in the upper frequencies. The HD800's peak hits at a more noticeable point compared to the T1's, so the T1 imo has the best trade off out of the big three with respect to highs.
Still a touch above it too, and I'd imagine still noticeable. Add to that, whilst the T1's have that peak up top, as mentioned earlier, they're at a not so common point in the high's, whereas the AKG's seem to br brighter in all the more noticeable upper mid and low high areas. That's the thing about the T1's, they're high emphasised and detailed, but still actually quite sweet with an ever so slightly warm touch, and this is why they're such a well rounded balance compared to the rest.
Add to that, there's one more thing about the T1's and HD800's I really admire above other cans, and that's to do with the angled drivers. I'm one of those that gets a tad irritated when hearing sounds on a recording come from behind me. I like to picture my music as a stage positioned in-front of me, with depth and width all relative to it. Because of the angled delivery of sound, I think the T1's and HD800's fare better with this.
Bare in mind, I don't mean angled pads, but angled drivers. Angled pads don't have the same affect because the wider segment of the pads on bigger cans just end up sitting behind the ears on the agnled slope of the neck, where they sort of balance out to be fairly level anyway.

That's a very encouraging assessment. The T1 could be the next, and probably the last headphones for me(for a very long time, at least). Now, I'd really love to see how they fare with my LCD-2 Rev.2, especially in terms of female vocals.
Also, I know that the LCD-2 is a low ohm, low efficiency headphones, while the T1 is a high ohm, high efficiency headphones. The question is, which one is actually easier to drive?
