My Xba 1 broke, fund for Xba 30 gone, need a replacement, found a few iem available within my affordable price, which of them fit there cateria?

-Fisher Audio Tandem
-Hippo Pro One
-Phonak Audeo PFE 012
-Shure SE 215
-TDK BA200

My genre is pretty much all about classical, instrumental, chanting (or operatic), a little bit of pop and electronic (when I'm sleepy or like to cheer myself up), something dark but not bright.

My priority will be, in descending order
-Separation of instrument + soundstage
-Accuracy and clarity of instrument
-Cold or neutral vocal
-Good isolation (Optional, Xba 1's seems to work great with me)
-A little more bass and sub-bass compared with Xba 1 will be nice.

NOTE : If none of them sound close to or better than Xba 1 by the measurement of above cateria, I'll rebuy it.

Thank you...

You should probably rebuy the XBA-1 anyway because it's only $35 on Amazon right now:  http://www.amazon.com/Sony-XBA-1-Balanced-Armature-Headphones-1/dp/B006K55662/

Thanks for the suggest but for some odd reason it's overpriced in my country, around USD 100 or so...I'm an idiot on online shopping so I'm going to get them from shops. Though I loved my Xba 1, wonder if any of listed could be better than it? Thanks.

In that case, I wouldn't know as I haven't heard any of those.  Sorry... frown.gif

Just out of curiosity, do these have to be portable (i.e closed)?  Or would these be for home use?

I would use them for some travel (airline and vacations not day to day) but mostly at home use

Gooooood news everybody. The wife has agreed to let expand my budget to $200!

I know that trick.  What she means is that, if you spend as much as $200, she won't leave you.  But if you truly love her, you'll still only spend $70.  wink.gif  Just warnin' ya dude.

Also, Beyer DT770/250 (only $177 on Amazon right now).

Yeah, they're great aren't they?  Probably really expensive though...

I've narrowed it further down to Xba 1, TDK BA200 and Tandem.

Thoughts?

Mind you, I still haven't heard any of them... but if I had to choose one blind, I'd say the BA200.  Why?

1.  I've had the XBA-1 described to me, and I didn't like the description.

2.  I don't even know what a Tandem is, and I fear what I don't know.
