What is your budget, what music do you listen to, what will you be plugging the headphones into, BTW; don't buy beat unless you have money to burn.

Id go with another headphone, beats are inferior. For the price theres something better out there

no head fier here will recommend you the beats.
here the beats are disliked because they are too expensive for the sound they offer.

so i say the srh 750
if you got 10-20bux more added to your budget most headfiers will recommend you the audio technica ath m50.

Yeaaa I had a similiar question, I looked at those earlier, Do they sound good with most music types, and, are they better than the beats pro?

alot of phones around 150 here can out perform the beats pro.
and yea from what i hear, you cant go wrong with the m50.

Hey! Didn't I just recommend the Shures to you? ^^ Its ok, were cool. But yeah, the Shures have more bass, and better quality bass, while sounding much better on the rest of the range too.

srh750 are good but from what i hear their durability is questionable...
well if you take good care of your stuff it should last.

So are the shures or audio technicas a better phone, and do they out perform the pros?

they both out perform the beats pro.
although i never tried either i pick the m50 because i dont hear as many horror stories related to its durability.
m50s are like $160 on amazon.

i can say the beats studio are probably about the same as the shure or slightly worse, at 2x the cost. the beats solo cost 50 bucks more, and are probably worse than the shures since the beats solo are the worst out of all the beats headphones.

the pros are probably just as good if not slightly better, but they also cost 400 dollars at which point, there are way better options available.

Before I sold my 750DJs, I am pleased to report no major problems with them. The only minor issues were that it clamped a bit too hard and it made some awful creaking noises. Other than that, pretty good sounding headphones.

I own both the Shure 750dj and the ATH M50's...

I've done a lot of listening on both, and the Shure 750dj are brighter, crisper, and can get deeper the the ATH M50's, while the M50's are warmer, more neutral, and have slightly more mid range presence than the the 750dj's.

I am in love with the clarity and the range of the bass in the 750dj's after 50-100+ hours of burn-in and it keeps getting better...the highs, while maybe too bright at times, is never distorted. The mids are not as present as the m50's, but still very clear and open

The M50's have great mids, offer more mid range bass presence, and require slightly less power for powerful bass response, but almost seem muffled in comparison with the 750dj's.

Overall, I like the Shure's better, they are clearer, more open, and the bass is deeper and a bit clearer, but they are both amongst the best in their price range in my opinion...and I would be happy with either

The beats require even less power for bass than the M50's, but those should be out of the question anyways unless you want to waste your money
