For Sale: FS: dB Audio Labs Tranquility Signature Edition USB DAC

For sale is my dB Audio Labs Tranquility Signature Edition DAC (say that 5 times fast).  If you're not familiar with it, it is a NOS (non over sampling) USB only DAC known for its very fine, analog-like sound qualities.  It is usually considered competitive (or better) than most DAC's in the $5k-and-under price bracket by those who have done the comparisons.

History:  I purchased the original Tranquility from Eric Hider at dB Audio Labs and enjoyed it for a year before upgrading to the Signature Edition.  As enjoyable as the Tranquility was, the Signature Edition was a substantial upgrade in every aspect.  It was considerably more dynamic, had much finer resolution, and threw a noticeably larger soundstage with better layering.  I have been the sole owner for the past 15 months and have taken extremely good care of it.  Ours is a smoke-free household and it's been kept away from pets and children.

Condition:  Very good to excellent.  There are only two areas I wish to mention.  One is a very small (1/5" maybe?) horizontal scratch on the front panel by the light (see pictures).  The other are some light scratches on the bottom of the DAC, which I've photographed close-up for reference.  They are very light scratches that cannot be felt and are only visible with the DAC turned upside-down.  The DAC itself plays wonderfully and is in perfect operating condition.

Reason for selling:  I am purchasing a fully active system with a built-in DAC, so I am selling my current system to finance that purchase.
