McCartney "Kisses On The Bottom" impressions

First off his voice is showing it's age but still sounds lovley...it may have something to do with the style of the music. The style I would describe as laid back lounge. One thing that grates me is the brushes on the snare, sounds like intense tape his at times So far I feel My Valintine is the strongest cut but the rest has a nice jazz feel to them and will make for great background "workin around the house" tunes. Any body else?

It was ok. But then switch to a Michael Buble and you realize just how Paul's voice was meant for rock. tongue.gif

Being a big Beatles and McCartney fan, I do own it and will listen to it from time to time.

First impression, it wasn't too thrilled even though I like all Pauls albums. Listening to it a few more times it really grew on me. It is not as great as most big band / retro cover albums but still pretty good. Not really anything on it that I've ever heard before. Usually the homage albums are full of songs you have heard covered a million times.
