hey all I think Skullcandy are very good sound clarity and quality and are better than Beats by Dre even. Just my thoughts.

I'll keep this very short. They are very smooth sounding. Treble toned down so not so good for rock but have a magic about them that makes them better than mark 2. I use them with a '89/'90...

Bought these on whim, for your basic train ride to work I don't mind. But its far from being the best I have own.

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

This quick review is done after a few hours of listening. I bought them from B&H for the decent sum of 150$. If you've done your research you'll find out that Ultrasone HPs are known for their...

Ok.
Excuse me.. but um... This is Head-Fi. Yeah I guess they're decent - POSSIBLY better then Beats, but it's um... There are plenty of options as low as $10 that are better then both. The bass is muddy, the mids are nonexistant - case in point... nvm.

OP, may I ask what the purpose of this thread is? I see none whatsoever. Its not a review, not a question, its just nonsense.
I smell troll..or stupidity. Not quite sure.

Maybe the higher end new stuff like the aviators or mix-masters, but no way does any of their low-end stuff sound remotely good. Also, it seems like you think Beats are good, but you're wrong there too...

Better than Beats? I am not surprised. I personally enjoy my Skullcandy Titan's and pull them out for a listening every once in a while when I don't have my NuForce NE-700X's. With a nice portable amp and the proper sized tips you definitely can get more out of them than you might just by plugging them into the HO on an iDevice.
I guess you can consider Aviator's as somewhat decent (though expensive for what they are), I really hope he means that and not the erm... Ink'd's and Riot's of the world.
Ok so this was originally a troll post, but it didn't turn out like I thought lol. Anyways now actually truthfully I haven't tried a whole lot of earphone's but from the one's I have tried I have always gone back to Skullcandy. And I use a pair of 50/50 and to me they have great sound quality, but I might have a more open mind. I guess it really depends on price and how clear they sound. I have tried Sentry (cheap POS), JVCs (decent, IMO not as great as Skullcandy), Maxwell (actually somewhat compareable to Skullcandy). I like having lots of bass and Skullcandys seem to have great bass. Are there headphones that are better than Skullcandy and around the same price range (maybe like $30-$50), that have good bass?

You could try the Monoprice MHP-839 which are ~$28 shipped. Supposed to be rebrands of the Kicker hp541. Look at this thread:

They look good, but I would ideally like in-ear headphones not over the head ones...

I believe the 50/50's are the mic version of the Titans. If so, I definitely can re-affirm your thoughts. The bass on them, when driven with even a E5 amp, is very tight and punchy. I enjoy a good listen to them when that is more the goal. Otherwise, I like the offerings from NuForce, which I've found to have plenty of bass and still have all the other levels coming through. I'd suggest trying the NE-770X's. It's towards the high end of that price range but definitely worth consideration

I was just answering your question which asked about headphones. But definitely check out some of the suggestions that are being thrown out there.
