Hi Appleheadmay as themiddlesky said the Bakoon has silent background, it is very high quality amp and has very nice synergy with the TH900.

I find the match better than with my Leben which sounds fantastic with my AKG 712

The satori link is for use between Bakoon products you can use a satori link cable with non Bakoon Hifi gear it has a different connector jack not standard rca. I have a satori link cable with satori link plugs on one end & RCA plugs at the other end. I use the Bakoon with an old high quality Denon DVD player (it has scad functionality ) sounds very good.

Wait 'till you hear them, you'll be even more in love!  :beerchug:

No, seriously, you need two pairs, one to look at while you listen to the other.

I just might have to. Hopefully I'll get off early today 'cause the lady of the house is working in the evening, and I could listen to music all day. Yesterday she asked how much I paid for the new cans. I was being evasive, and she asked if I paid 500€ for them. I saw the easy way out and replied yes. She told me off, but I think I got off easy. If she only knew...

a dangerous game, I think most of us around here play it. I have not told anyone the REAL value of my Stax setup. biggrin.gif I liked a quote that a fellow HeadFier had in their sig "it is easier to ask for forgiveness than receive permission" wink.gif

Don't we all. Make sure the equipment is spread around and keep some in the office.

If I were married, I'd say "Damn woman, I'm not going to ask you about how much I'll pay for my audio stuff!" I'm a macho you see. :)

That is funny!!!

Some time ago I was buying a pair of middle of the road B&W floor standing speakers and my wife went with me to the dealer. She does not care about music, HiFi equipment or anything related but at least she let me enjoy my hobby.

I showed her the ones I was planning to buy and then she so a pair of B&W N803 in the rosenut (redish) finish. So she said,"Honey, what about these? and I replied. They are better speakers and about 50% more expensive and then she goes "So what, they go better with the furniture and decorations of the bedroom, get them" And I did!! :D I love my wife!!
