That's where I got mine. You need to have them sent to an address in Japan, so go to tenso.com and sign up for their forwarding service. (sign up is free).

The packaging and shipping with Amazon Japan is always top notch, you have nothing to worry about.

To the guy who was wondering, these sound much more refined than the D7000s but then again they often cost about twice the price.

To the people talking about tube amps...these have an impedance of only 20ohms and therefore would probably be better served by a solid state amp.

Though I didn't get the TH900 through Price Japan, I did buy the W3000ANV from them: no problems (to the US)

Anyone know where to buy the th900 that has a good return policy if I don't like them

How could you not like them unless you never really needed them?

TTVJ, Moon Audio, Headphone.com to name a few

I'm keep telling myself to not even buy them because of what people say about the highs being ear bleeders. After my absolutely horrible experience the he400 I don't want to mess up again but I doubt any headphone is as bad as the 400 so I'm considering the 900. Looking at the graphs and it seems to have a pretty similar treble response as the he6 which I liked a lot so I'm keeping am open mind

Just a quick note- I just received my TH900's yesterday.

I really like these cans..........

I have two amps: a BH Crack, and a headphone amp that is built into my Bel Canto DAC 2.5 (10 ohms).

Very early impressions:  I know the BHC is not a good choice due to the impedance mismatch and expected the combo to sound miserable, but honestly, the sound was not too bad with the TH900's.  Through the Bel Canto, my early thoughts are that the sound was better in most (but not all) respects.  However, I need more head time to more fully analyze the differences.

I bought the LH Labs Geek Pulse amp/dac, but that will not arrive until this summer.  I am hopeful that the Geek Pulse will be a good match with my TH900's.

Has anyone had their TH900 hardwired with another cable? Endorphin? Q-Audio Cable? Or know anyone that offers this service? (besides BTG Audio)?

Mine was Recabled BALANCED XLR by  casque-headphone.com  in France

And then ...I recabled myself my beloved TU-05 with a XLR (NON Balanced  :-)

BTG did both my TH900 when Greed owned it and my D7000 in Q French Silk.  Quick service and love the cable.   Brian Goto communicated and beat his time estimate by a week.  On the other hand.........

I've got my TH900 receiving the Lawton damping treatment and having the cable shortened and a 1/4" plug being put on it (removing the XLR) by Lawton Audio.  Made a mistake I fear.  The damping took but a couple of days but he has to send the phones out to his "cable guy" to have the XLR removed/swap the 1/4" on and it's now been three weeks.  Guess I'm saying be aware of the timeline if you have cable work done by Mark L.

Is there a list of amp/dac units that pair optimally with the TH900 from experience?  I currently have the Yulong D100 MKII & A100 combo which is phenomenal with the D7000's but I know that there is always better.  I'm sure once I get my TH900's in the mail, this will be my next research project.

Thanks!
