If they have 1/4 jacks, they're not made to go outside.

I prefer IEMs for outdoor use too.

I have IEMS, but when I'm outside walking around they freak me out and also annoy me. I need some outside sound coming in so I can have a sense of my surroundings. Weird eh? It's just me.

Looks great but I wouldn't take that lot out of the house.

They don't bother me when I'm out on the street. Sometimes they're a convenient excuse to ignore people :-)

I have to say though, I do get a little freaked out sometimes when I wear them out on my bike.

Here's my best effort, indoors, using bounce flash to capture the differences in wood lacker finishes...of course it always depends which angle the light is reflecting...

I might set up something similar for around the house. I don't know the first thing about portable amps and DACs. I did have the Fostex HP-P1 but I don't think that'd be suitable for TH600 as it has an output impedance of 10 ohms.

I'll get some research done.

Just dropping by to say these are fantastic looking headphones. The fit and finish especially on the cups and the stitching on the leather pads are the best I've seen on headphones. IMO the fit and finish alone is worth half the asking price. Can't imagine the cost of replacing those leather cups though. No interest in the sound though despite it being a headphone just here to admire the view.
