I'll probably buy an Audeze one day , after a model is released that doesn't undergo constant revisions and veiling corrections.

Many avoid buying new car models for this vary reason , it can take a few years to get it right

Has anyone else listened to the Mobile Fidelity, Bob Marley release of Catch a Fire ( the song Concrete Jungle specifically) on the TH900 or for that matter any other headphone?

I was a little disappointed at how badly they handled the bottom end , and this was the first time I have heard any weakness in the TH900.I then switched to my LA7000 , as they are a beast at handling bottom end , only slightly better handling of the song , even at low volume.

Maybe some music just isn't suited to headphones, specifically sub-like bass recordings?

Other than some reggae , my music collection doesn't include much thumping sub bass recordings

If I remember correctly mine took about 4-5 weeks as well to get delivered. I'm sure the wait must be difficult.. Hopefully you'll have it soon.

I will soon join my roommate as a proud owner of a TH900 as well.

I had the pleasure to hear his headphones through my Woo 6SE on a number of occasions.

Finally had a moment of weakness when I saw them in-stock for order at one of our local NYC audio/electronics stores.

Although I realize this can very well be considered one of my larger impulse buys, I am nothing but excited to have a TH900 in my collection.

Now it is just a matter of being patient and wondering how long the wait will be until they arrive at my door.

Former college roommate for two years.

I tend to simply refer to him as my roommate. He does live just a couple blocks away and he still comes over frequently.

I suppose borrowing wouldn't be out of the question, but the opportunity arose to make a purchase. And to be honest I had been itching to make a headphone purchase.

Thanks, I will take that into account. Usually I burn in my cans by listening to them. I know this takes much longer to fully burn them in, but for me it is more fun that way.

No "burn in" for me, straight out of the box I loved the TH900s.
