$1600 is a great price for the TH900, but it looks like you have to live in Aus or NZ to create an account and order it frown.gif

Oh wow $1600 is really a good price, grab it if you can. The TH900 grows in me over time. I am still on the hunt for the IEM that had similar sound quality..

Yea thats how I purchased my Signature Pros from there as well. They actually ended up getting some awful bank transaction fee when I did the wire but they were great about it..

havent been following this thread..

anyone did an a/b betw d7000 n 900?  (600bucks vs 1600bucks)..any outright winner?

 

last nite i was rumbling my head on this cd,

the drums, the pipes, the basstrombones... sounded so lifelike on the d7k

the drivers were literally rumblingg..almost popping out of the cups..lol.

 

curious..or itching to know how much better it can get on the 900...blink.gif

Any in-depth comparisons of the LCD-3 and the TH-900?   From what I've gathered, the TH-900 is considered to be better overall. 

 

Then again, I feel if I asked this on the LCD-3 thread, most would say the LCD-3 is better.

 

What's the general consensus?

Sorry if I was mean. It's 5 hours till my final exam so please ignore my hot head. If you read MF' impression and other impressions which are linked from MF's post you can find almost everyone mentioned the D7000 in their comments.

I was all set to get these, and...yesterday I was laid off from my job :-| You know what it's like to be restlessly dreaming about headphones at night?...I just won't be able to justify this purchase to my wife now. Alas. Back to forgetting about them for a while, and being happy with my D7000's...

I've been considering these over my D2000, but thankfully I haven't had the chance to hear the TH900s and the midbass in the AH-D2000 doesn't respond well to EQ so it's hard for me to imagine what the TH900 sounds like.

I just acquired the LA7000 and I'm wondering how close it sounds to the TH900.  At the moment, I'm in a state of bliss with its (compared to stock D7000) bigger soundstage, imaging, tamed highs, perfect mids and magical bass L3000.gif
