Really bad sound from laptop

So i wanted to somehow override my laptops really bad strs permium thing.So im guessing if i get a DAC i can override it?

Can someone recoment a decet 100-150$ dac.If it helps i have an MS1i.

I can suggest the HRT Music Streamer II.  It is $149, at the upper end of your budget, but I think its a great little DAC.

But will it allow me to buypass the crap audio card my laptop has (and the required drivers) ?

Edit:never mind took a peek at the recomended items spec pdf page.aswered that question.

Any more suggentions guys?

Fiio E17 is a new USB DAC plus amp, that would not only allow you to bypass the more often than not crappy onboard audio chip and use its higher quality DAC, along with the fact that it has an integrated amp that will help drive your headphones better.
