Hello all,
It really pains me to get rid of this setup as it`s my first and only (full-size) Electrostatic rig and I love it to bits, but I am moving (back) to Japan and it`s not worth the cost of shipping them over when I can just get another set when I get there.
Firstly we have an original SR-Lambda Normal Bias. The foam inside the cups has begun to degrade but isn`t flaking and hasn`t affected the mechanics at all, so I`ve left them as-is. The original headband broke and the current one has been scavenged from an SR-Sigma that originally came in a bundle with the Lambdas (long gone, sorry!) and thus is brown instead of the original black, but in fantastic condition. They`re in cosmetically very good condition, no marks but the dark plastic colour has faded a bit over the years. Original pads, still supple with no signs of degradation at all. Working like a dream.
Next up we have the SRM-1/MK-2 . It has both Normal and Pro sockets. I`ve wired the PSU to 240V, however I only have the original stock Japanese cable for it. I`d highly recommend getting yourself a proper grounded cable for it as it has issues with grounding with the two-prong plug. I`d throw one in but unfortunately I don`t have any spares lying around (the current one I`m using is shared with a PC monitor :S) Cosmetically excellent, one little nick on the faceplate at the bottom and a teeny scratch on the top. Also working beautifully although the volume pot needs a bit of a clean as it`s a bit scratchy when you turn it for the first 10-15 mins after you turn it on. After that it turns quietly tho. The unit comes with its original box and manual (not pictured but in excellent shape).
And lastly there`s the official STAX wooden headphone stand. One tiny scratch just at the top, apart from that it`s as good as new.
Ideally I`d like to ship these within Australia seeing as it`ll be a rather big package, and also because of the voltage setting. I will however consider overseas offers if someone needs them really badly. Hate to get between a head-fier and electrostats.
