Hi folks,

I've been lurking for a while and I've learned a lot from older posts.

I currently use a Musical Fidelity V-CAN to drive Grado 225i's with input from a Musical Fidelity V-DAC.  The V-DAC is powered by a Pyramid PS-3KX supply.  The stock wall warts that come with the V-series components each output around 18V while the Pyramid outputs around 13.6V.

I'd like to power the V-CAN from the same supply but when I wire it in parallel with the V-DAC, there's a slight hiss.  If I power the V-CAN with the supplied wall wart, there's no audible hiss.  Has anyone had success with running the V-DAC and V-CAN off the same regulated power supply?  The V-PSU is out of my price range.

Thanks!
