PXC 450 distortion FLAC/MBP files?

I've noticed some distortion with my PXC450s (which uses HD595 drivers) when playing around 65% volume on my MBP jack playing some Apple Lostless Files i.e. Try and Love Again by Eagles from album Hotel California. They were converted from Flac, but should I be worried or are they probably just because this was an old recording back then which didn't use high end equipment? =/

I also have the PXC450 (with no amp) and I dont hear distortion on my mp3 files (CD quality) in my itunes but again I am not an audiophile so I really don't know...
