Audio Technica Ath-m50 Deal?

I'm trying to buy a pair of ath-m50 for $100 or less since I saw some posts from a year ago on this forum about how they were selling for $80-90 dollars. Do you guys know any place that sells them that price, or somewhere that I could offer for that price? If not, what is a reasonable price to pay for these? Thanks.

I have never really listened to the ATH M50 but I know that they are great headphones, I would recommend that you get them for the lowest price possible but don"t expect to find any under 100$. I imagine that 150$ or less is an acceptable price, check on Headroom:

They haven't been under 100 for a long time.

Last year they were pretty solidly at 159 for a couple of months -

it seemed that everyone had the same price.

Now it's been bouncing around - 125 or so would be a reasonable price today,

though you might be able to shave some from that.

Recommend that you keep an eye on the pricing at Amazon and B&H.

Alright, that's what I thought. Do you guys think offering $100 for them to an ebay dealer be reasonable? Because I think soundprofessionals have had them at $110-120 recently.

I think $100.00 for those is a nice round number to throw at an eBay seller.

If they don't accept your offer, what's your downside?  None that I can see.

And the only way they can say "yes" is if you ask them...

Alright so $100 is the lowest I should offer correct? and thanks for your help guys.

I wouldn't go any lower than that.

Look at the ebay sellers feeback and what they bought. it shows you can offer 109 for an open box model which is fine.

If - if - you can buy brand new sealed phones from a reputable seller for 110,

(I have no idea if soundprofessionals is/are reputable having never heard of them) -

I wouldn't suggest offering 109 for an open box from a different seller.

I purchased the M50s from Sound Professionals and can recommend  it highly. Very good service, prompt delivery, and an excellent price.
