SAC KH1000 class-A amp designed for AKG K1000 headphones

I have an SAC KH1000 class-A amp designed for AKG K1000 headphones. It includes their XLR-RCA input adapters if you don't have a balanced DAC. I might have the box and manual, but will have to search for them. It drives 4-pin XLR balanced headphones, with a 1/4" jack for single ended headphones which sounds as good as the 4-pin output.
I compared this amp side-by-side to my ZDT and a nice EHHA that Wiatrob built and the SAC was clearly better with the K1000, the others better with HD800. However, this amp drives my HiFiMan orthodynamics nicely, including HE-6 due to it's high power, and is especially good with HE-5 LE and HD600 giving them a lot of kick and impact. Interestingly, the HE-5 LE had a lot in common with the K1000 that I used to own, but had better bass, so I sold the K1000 and kept the amp. Now I'm saving up for a high power electrostatic amp.
