Solid State eXStatA with boards stuffed by Alex Cavalli, lots of extras
Will Ship To: CONUS
I have a solid state eXStatA in which the amp and psu boards were stuffed by Alex Cavalli himself (it's the final version, not a prototype). I've been using this amp since July 2010 with no issues. It's been to a 2010 Colorado meet and RMAF 2010, and I heard from a lot of people who liked it.
This amp uses luvdunhill's pro and normal bias teflon jacks and luvdunhill's Amati balanced digital attenuator board, with TPA Placcid PSU for attenuator, and a Bourne rotary encoder (if I recall). The teflon jacks and digital attenuator add a lot of extra value (ask Beefy), as do the machined panels. The front and rear panels of the Par Metal case were done by FPE. It has switchable single-ended and balanced XLR inputs, and there is a loop-out for both XLR and RCA so you can connect a second amp to it.
