Just heard about her passing a few minutes ago in the news. A sad day and a loss for the music and movie industry, she had a very beautiful voice early in her career. I can still remember watching her "I Wanna Dance with Somebody" music video on MTV in the mid 80's.

She had a voice for the ages.  Truly a shame.

Crack is whack!

She died way too young and her demise appears to be drugs and alcohol. Typical of many celebrities nowadays. I only have her latest album I Look to You and I have not listened to it in ages since it was released back in 2009. I doubt that I will buy her older albums now that she is gone. RIP.

good singer but obviously have no sympathy for her. it was her fault she died. no one else. she obviously should of known that if she kept doing what she's been doing it would catch up to her.

She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, but chose to use it in her nose. No simpathy for her, sorry.
