ToneBoosters OmniSone VST plugin in Foobar2k

It's a cool plugin that can pan the speakers even wider than they actually are or even make the sound seem as if it comes from below or higher than the speaker is positioned. It sounds very good when choosing the wide preset.

so this plugin increases soundstage eh... interesting.. what speakers are you using? any noticable in degradation in sound? might give this try because im craving for a bit more soundstage in my setup right now.

I'm using Microlab Solo7C . Are by far the best computer speakers out there. And no, I didn't notice any sound degradation.

sorry for the question, but how do i install the plugin. Its not the usual click and drop the .dll file into foobars folder.

you need a VST loader for foobar. There are couple of them online.

finally got it to work. Definitely a good plugin but it didn't work too well for me. I liked the enhanced soundstage a lot but unfortunately it gave me distortion so had to remove it. Plus it didn't make too much of a difference unless i exaggerated it but i guess my Swans are not too shabby at all with the soundstage.

 

This might work better for others.

Thread revival, I just tried this not too long ago, for the clipping/distortion issues, lower your in player gain(by using replaygain or something). Omnisone is kind of a dream come true for me because I don't have a lot of desk space atm and it works very very well. Using the normal preset  preset, wide source mode is too artificial for my taste.
