Selling my trusty old iPod mini 2ng gen.
HDD replaced with 16 GB CF card. Battery replaced with 1300 ma one, life is about 7 -8 hours. This is while using almost all ALAC. Can be rockboxed, I did have it running on here but didn’t get on with the UI personally.
Body and plastic end caps covered with Di Noc (by 3M) Carbon Fibre effect self-adhesive vinyl. There is a slight gap in this at the back of the iPod - see pictures.
The click wheel has some scratches, but works just fine.
As you can see from the picture the headphone out has been blanked off. This is due to me breaking it whilst installing the new battery! The line out works perfectly well - hence the inclusion of the LOD.
The low profile LOD is DIY'ed by me using DHC Nucleotide 24awg cryo copper in a quad braid, terminated with the ubiquitous r/a Neutrik.
It also has a resistor in there so is compatible with newer iPods / iPhone / iPod touch.
Also included is a non-apple (I don’t think) Sync cable. Works fine.
