Yuin G2A for classical? (or Senn MX980?)

Hi Guys,

I am looking for a clip-on or earbud for classical music on my laptop. I am ruling out over the head headphones (really messes up my hair permanently) and IEMs (need to hear a bit of outside noise).

I read that MX980's are excellent, but because I am new to portable phones, it's hard to dish out ~$200 up front for something off ebay. G2A seems like a good option. Anyone have experiences with it for classical? Or experiences with both phones?

Thanks

I have never heard the MX980, however I do have the YuinG2A's and they are a very balanced sound for the price, I recommend getting a pair of ksc-75 to use the clips with the G2A's though.  Also if you can find them I found the Blox M2C to sound very good with classical music, a wonderful energetic balanced sound with a very wide soundstage.
