Welcome! I'm selling a pair of Fostex T50RP headphones that I personally modded. The sum total of the mods I did is a headphone that has a humongous bass punch while still not being muddy. The bass is definitely a bit more prominent than mids or highs, but the mids and highs are both there in full quality. This would be the perfect headphone for anyone who listens to hip-hop, rap, techno, jazz, or pretty much any genre where bass impact plays a big part of the experience. You also have the option to simply turn the bass down in an equalizer and have a more even presentation; but again, stock without any EQ, there are details galore across the whole spectrum.

I actually kind of forget the exact mods I've done inside the headphones because I've been pleased with them for so long, but I know I added soundproofing to make them closed, took off the original felt both in back of and front of the driver, added transpore to the back, hard felt to the front, and some other miscellaneous adjustments. I've also included Shure 840 earpads, which are super comfortable. And, I've added a foam headband under the stock one, attached with electrical tape -- gives even more comfort. I have no problem wearing these headphones for 3+ hours. I also dremeled out the jack to connect the audio cable; the stock cable (included) no longer "locks", but there is the added benefit of being able to use nearly any aftermarket, higher-quality cable with them. No internal cabling has been replaced.

These headphones really envelop you with vibrant, full bass, and a big soundstage for a closed headphone, while still giving vocal punch and shimmery treble. I'm only selling because I want to give a shot at a different sound signature with another pair I have.
