I recently got extremely bored of my Meelecs and after a long hiatus came back to head-fi.  Well needless to say I remembered why I left in the first place...  it's an addiction.

Over the course of two days I picked up the following.

ATH-CKM50s (got em)

TT Isurus (in transit)

Philips SHE-3575/3580 (got em)

Monoprice 8320 (in transit)

How do the CMK50s compare to the M6s?  Is the short chord a hassle?  thanks.

Sound quality on the CKM50 is way better than the M6.  I use the extension cord that came with the CMK50 which IMO is way too long.  If you are just using the standard cord then yes, its too short, but then again, I'm 6'3".

Yeah i'm similar height.  Looking for a decent entry level IEM.  I don't think those CMK50 will work, since i plan to work out in them.. I have read the extra weight from the extension connection makes it a pain in the ass.  Anythig else you reccomend?  Don't mean to hijack your thread btw lol.

I am by no means an expert, but I just got my Philips SHE-3580 and so far I am a huge fan. I've been listening to them about about 2 hours and they sound fantastic.
