Hi guys, this is my first post and first of all i have to say that this forum is a must for everyone who aims to listen music with quality equipments.

I need for your help in a very hard choice: i'm searching for an in-ear with good level of details, balanced tone, and "spatial openness"

just like open headphones. Maybe semi-open desigh IEMs like superlux could be close to my requirements ?!

My reference in headphones are grado sr80, open headphones with warm and detailed sound.... my wish is to find something similar in in-ears.

Last info, my budget is max 100-120 €, more or less 150 $.

Please help me,

B

Maybe a second hand pair of IE8s?  Another possibility, there is a pair of Grado GR8 in the FS Forum for a little more than your budget if you can strech abit.

The most open sounding IEM I have owned is the Sony MDR7550 it is a lot like an open headphone and has zero ear pressure. So keep in your budget I recommend it's sibling EX600.

Thank you for your suggestions, i'm considering sony's in ears.

Since i'm interested in semi-open design just like the sony mdr-ex90 one, do you think that sony mdr-ex500 can be right for my requirements (good detail, open sound) ?

it seems that sony mdr-ex500 is opened on the external metal circle, can someone confirm it ?
