Agree! We're walking along a thin edge here :-)) Let's get back to our beloved Android USB Audio ;-)

Regardless of whether its better or not, I cant hear the difference however I do have the forza micro to mini and it is simply a sexy cable. Through into the mix that here in the US it is hard to obtain a micro to mini unless you make one or buy a longer one, by the time you import one and wait forever to get it ann/or pay exhorbitant shipping prices you may as well buy from Forza. As they ship quick, it is definitely a beautiful cable and it arrives in no time via usps so there is no import fees.

I think the proliferation of USB Audio in the Android world, together with a number of upcoming ultra-portable USB DACs will give birth to a number of previously unseen cable combinations :-))

Imagine, for instance, connecting Resonnessence Labs Herus to an Android phone: ideally, you'll need a short-length USB Micro-to-USB Type B OTG cable LOL!!!!

Spoiler! (Click to show)
It's fake, quick and lazy photoshopping... :-)))

Or - perhaps I could add a female to male OTG Adapter (not cable wire, just adapter connector piece) would work?

If you can't mod the cable, this might be an option:

Get a simple USB otg -cable with a right angled connector and a right angled male A --> male micro -cable (like those that come with phones for charging)

It should™ work, or atleast I don't see why it wouldn't... It might be a bit chunky beacause of the fullsize USB connection in the middle of it, though.

Oh, and you could simply try if it's working (I assume you own a normal otg and charging cable)

That cable was already posted here. The problem is, that it isn't OTG (ie. pins 4 and 5 shorted, tells the phone to work in host mode). That means, it won't work without modification.

For anyone who is getting glitches with USB Audio Recorder PRO (for instance with the HRT Microstreamer), could you please try and install this version (this is for people who have purchased it only) :

Please let me know if this changes anything.

Thank you,

All glitches I previously experienced using my HRT Microstreamer and GS3 with Audio Recorder Pro have now been resolved. Thank you Davy.

Playback is flawless. Actually a little too flawless..I just heard David Gilmore of Pink Floyd fame clear his throat in the quiet intro of 'Us & Them'. I certainly haven't heard that before! ha ha  Is there such a thing as too much clarity?

Well, the Note 3 does it with no problem - as per my post in the Note 3 thread...

This is a killer phone, haha - running Note 3 [24/96] -> Fiio E17 [LOD - L7] -> Fiio E12 -> TF10 is quite a monster setup, but - sounds great :D

Ooh, better edit - the stock player swaps sample rate over USB depending on the files, but Neutron keeps it at 24/96 even if playing 16/44 etc.

Sweet as a nut! :D

Davy,

Shall I install it with my M2tech HiFace DAC? Remember, I wrote you I had problems with 1.2.7. Or shall I stay on 1.2.6 for now?

I was under the impresson that everybody's HiFace problem was solved with 1.2.7. I think you wrote you had problems with 1.2.6 and reverted to 1.2.5. In any case, please update to 1.2.7 and let me know. The hrt microstreamer fix is unrelated to the HiFace fix by the way.

Davy, sorry for confusion - indeed, I had probs with 1.2.6, and reverted to 1.2.5. Didn't realize it already was 1.2.7. Will try to update and will report.
