LCD-2 Drops sound in left ear for ~5-10 seconds when first starting listening. Help!

This is what happens to my files when I listen to them:

FLAC -> Foobar2000 (WASAPI) -> M-Audio Delta Audiophile 24/96 -> RCA Cables -> Woo Audio 6 -> Q-Audio Cable -> Audeze LCD-2

When I first start listening to music, the left ears sound cuts to nothing for around 5 seconds, and then "pops" back in, never giving trouble afterward.

What could be the culprit here?

Does it happen with other headphones?

If not it could be the diaphragm sticking, but I am not sure if that is even possible with the design.

I don't have any other headphones to test with currently, but it never happened with any of my previous sets.

Bump. Hoping someone can help me figure out what's going on here? Or at least narrow it down from cable, to headphones, to amplifier? :)

Thanks so much!

Unfortunately, it must be our headphones, because I have the same problem - when you start them after a while the left headphone makes no sound or makes some noise. The problem dissapears when you add some volume or wait for the same 10 sec.
I use FLAC -> Foobar2000 (WASAPI) -> Yamaha AX-496 -> Audeze LCD-2
It really sounds like membrane "sticks" to something.
I wonder how long our headphones will last...
