Pick which ever one has your favorite interface and has a line out then buy a portable amp. If not go for a Cowon or HiFiman player.

What you are saying is that all source portables have the same quality of signal.

I cannot believe that after hearing the difference in portable amps which are doing much less

electronically.  I realize the logic is simple but??
