How do I replace my headphone cable?

So about a week after I bought a pair of Beyerdynamic DT-770 pros I ruined the cable.  I was packing my gear up late at night, it was dark I didn't see the cable got shut in the door of my car. After a long drive on the freeway it got shredded so I have to replace it, but I don't know how.  I have the direct replacement cable with me.  I think it is the same one that I ruined, but I don't know how much pressure I can put put on the earcups before I damage something.

Can anyone help me reinstall the cable?

Thanks,  I am going to attempt this today.  I hope I don't have to solder anything.
