Hello gents,  long time lurker (about 5-6 years).

 

I don't even know what to say but thought it relevant to show you all something I stumbled upon.

It is a ~46 second clip of a jeweler working on what appears to be white gold parts for a pair of beats by dre.  Diamond and Ruby setting into white gold.  I work in the jewelry industry and personally do not know what to say.  I can only imagine that these were commissioned by Dre himself.

If those Beats were created from carbon polymer and 6061 aluminum alloy; good enough for bass, but they need to work on their quality control.

 

(Other than that, if Colorware offers customization on the logo area, I'd pick one and recolor it to Conrail blue or CSX blue-yellow-gray scheme with their reporting marks on it. Take that, Lamborghini beats! :)

lolwut? for 1,000,000 it better have a vagina, not carbon polymer. My father has been in the CF / composite industry for years and you couldn't compress 30,000 of it in there- not even 1,000. My bike is made of 6061 aluminum.

 

WOOPS- you said "if" LOLWUT- i thought you were some beats rep. iIll post it anyway.

 

what happens when the plastic shell breaks?

I'd say the million dollar headphones are definitely worth it. Look , they managed to catch our attention for their stupid show.  Just imagine the poor people starring at the headphone during the show.

Ok I  just watched the show.  It's so amazing, that  I  don't even care anymore of the  headphones biggrin.gif. Incredible performance.
