Currently own Bosch IE1, is it worth getting Klipsch Image S4?

I bought a pair of Bose IE headphones over a year ago from a best buy vending machine at an airport because I wanted some decent headphones, well lately I've been working overnight and listen to my headphones all night long and have been pretty unhappy with them. The mid's seem bad to me, I can't use them watching tv because people's voices just sound horrible. The bass is okay, but I think it can be better. Maybe it's just me, but they just don't seem to sound that good. I don't really want to spend a whole lot of money on another pair of headphones, but I've been reading alot of good reviews about the Klipsch Image S4, they're only $80 from amazon. So my question mainly is, do the Klipsch really sound that much better then the Bose that it would be worth it to buy them? I do like bass alot, and I listen to everything but rap and country, so classical, rock, metal, trance, orchestra, all that.

The IE2s pale in comparison to its competitors. And you should know better than to buy ANYTHING at the vending machine wink_face.gif I saw one in a casino at Las Vegas and prices were through the roof! The S4 isn't worth it at $80, perhaps $40-50. Consider the Fischer Eternas.

Yeah I learned my lesson on the bending machine. I also just realized I put Bosch instead of Bose in the title. I was looking up wiper blades at the time of posting this. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll check them out.

One other one, what about the sony EX 510? They're about $50 more but while looking up where to buy the fischer ones I read alot of great reviews on it, would you still recommend the fischer over them?

Not really sure about the EX510s but here's a review of the EX500s. For that price you might as well get the EX600s, which is said to be the best IEM in their line in terms of price/performance ratios.

Cool thanks, yeah I found the 600's for only $10 more on some provantage site.

Klipsch S4 are not that great anymore with a plethora of headphones undercutting its price and exceeding its performance.

EX-600 is a good choice at $130.

I got the Sony EX-600, broke them in for 50 hours, they sound great, just not on my zune. Basically I can tell from playing on my phone that has a equalizer app that they are capable of some nice bass, but on my Zune there is not equalizer option, so they are a little flat. I found a portable equalizer which I'll link below, just don't know if it's any good, or if anyone has any other recommendations for something better or preferably cheaper, like around the $30 mark.
