I'm out for a decent computer speaker system and my budget is $150. Any tips?

large but totally worth the money. Another good option would be to buy a T-amp with some dayton passive bookshelfs. Both should sound pretty decent for the price.

Oh, maybe I didn't make myself clear. I want something like this (http://www.inet.se/produkt/6303382/edifier-s330-2-1) which is a 2.1 system.

I'm not much of a bass person but I think you should got for the http://www.dinodirect.com/speaker-edifier-c2-ch/currency-GBP.html?ddse=edifier or the 330d whichever suits you more. Going 2.0 with the studio line or going passive is still a better option depending on what you want to do with the system.

I got an integrated receiver / 2ch bookshelf speaker set for $60 and combined them with the sub from a 2.1 system I got also for about $60 IIRC.  The point is with that kind of money you could get yourself separate bookshelf speakers (active or passive+amp) and powered subwoofer and it'd be better than the "computer audio" 2.1 combos.  Those tend to have undersized "2" channels.
