Recommend any good headphones for minimal leakage?

I would like some recommendations for full size, or on ear headphones that have good comfort, and minimal leakage.

I would be listening to them on the go, so in public. I don't have money for an amp/dac, and I'm most worried about the actual headphones and not amps/dac's. I would be playing music from an iPod. I listen to mainly electronic music, but I still listen to a little of everything. My budget is $250. And I do care about looks, so, I don't want the biggest headphones.

Most definitely not these lol. I'm saying that as a loving owner of 8400s. They are comfortable and they sound good without an amp and they don't leak much, but they are not something I would ever want to wear outside. That is, unless you are OK walking around with the flying buttress look.

Yeah. I don't want to wear bulky headphones. I was considering the new Beats Mixr's (Don't Flame Me.) because I like their sound signature and low profile-ness, but their sound wasn't WOW enough. It sounded a little bland.

Fischer Audio FA-003 (or Brainwavz HM5)

Beyer DT770 PRO

Excellent isolation for full-size in public. Also, very good sound. Well within your budget. Room for a Fiio E11 amplifier too.

Very best,

Very best,

Those are both too big for me. I would feel like a freak. I would consider those, if I was only gonna listen to them at home.

Do you care more about looking like someone with some nice headphones who adores music, or like someone who bought something from the apple store?

Very best,

The first one, obviously. But I can't really haul big bulky headphones with me through school all day.

Are the Phiaton MS 400's a good option for me?

Oops accidentally posted some random unicode characters lol

How about the Sennheiser HD 25 1-II Adidas

You got looks, sound, isolation, and portability.

I haven't personally heard them for an extended period of time, but I remember them being punchy and forward sounding.

I would buy the V-Moda M/V-80 if I were in your shoes quite honestly.

I was going to suggest the hd-25 I-II as well but you already said you didnt think they looked cool enough in one of your many posts on the same subject

I would, but I had the LP2's before, but I returned them because of the sound leakage.

I'll look into those. This weekend I'm going out of town to go to Guitar Center, and hopefully they will have lots of headphones to demo.

The M80s have the same rear vent, so you would have the same issue. It depends on how loud you listen I guess. I'm getting mine tomorrow, however I don't think that will be an issue for me. The HD25s have far better isolation FWIR.

I didn't noticed that. However, I suggest the Adidas version because I personally think they look very stylish.
