I am selling a pair of Sonus Faber Guarneri Homage bookshelf speakers, manufactured in 2001 in Italy. They are in absolute mint condition (9/10 on the Audiogon scale), ASIDE from a very minor ding on the top left of one of the speakers (visible in the Flickr album below) -- it happened recently when I moved out of my apartment. It comes with all original stands and accessories (booklet, speaker dust covers, etc). I also have spare replacement strings for the string grills, in case the next owner ever decides the restring them, although the grills are currently perfect as-is.
Not else much needs to be said about these legendary speakers aside from their rave reviews online, and many prefer them to the newer angled Memento Guarneris. This is probably one of the few pairs in Canada, and you would not have to associate with the hassles and risks of shipping cross border.
The reason why I am selling is because I am downsizing due to other hobbies. I have already sold my Pass Labs Aleph J, and as such they are just not being used at all.
For now, I would highly prefer local pickup in the Richmond/Vancouver, BC area. I may consider shipping elsewhere in Canada, but for speakers that weigh almost 300lbs in total, it would be quite expensive and not to mention risky. Shipping to US is possible but will require considerable research on viable shipping methods.
