I am selling my one month old LCD-3. I pre-ordered on 11 Nov 2011, and got the headphone soon after that, then due to ear pads problem I returned it for replacement. I am selling it now because I am moving on to electrostatic headphones.
This LCD-3 is the replacement unit which came during the 6th of January. It has a different serial number, 2312396 (earlier S/N compared to the one I bought). I emailed Sankar and he assured me that their S/N do not follow the order.
I have a feeling that this headphone has been cherry picked somehow, due to the plush ear-pads, and also the smooth frequency response (refer attached pics). The headphone has less than 100 hours on it.
I have only used the stock ADZ-6s cable, which is the one with 1/4" connector. The balanced cable, ADZ-6-B4 has never been opened and used. You will get the LCD-3 headphone, the frequency response chart, the manual and warranty card (the warranty is now 3 years from Audez'e), two sets of polishing oil and cloth, the ADZ-6s cable, ADZ-6-B4 cable and the travel case.
I am also looking for a trade for the Stax 007 MKI, if anyone has one that is in good condition. If not I will just sell the LCD-3 and get the Stax 009 instead.
Offer me a price, but no low ball please, considering that the headphone is less than 1 month old. Send as Paypal gift, if not buyer pays the extra fees. Buyer covers the shipping.
