Currently on HE-300/Xonar DG, will a FiiO E10 be a noticeable improvement?

I'm currently using HiFiMANs dynamic offering with the $25 Xonar DG Dac/amp sound card, I'll be getting $100 this weekend so I thought I might upgrade to the USB FiiO E10 however I'm unsure of it will make a noticeable difference over the current Xonar DG, and since I know you guys are  more informed than me I thought I'd ask!

Thanks a lot.

Bump! I have exactly the same issue, is it worth it to get, say, a fiio e7 when you already have a xonar? What amp is a good upgrade to the xonar dg.

All depends on how revealing your headphones are. If you have crappy headphones, no, you will not hear a difference.

Unless you're touting the flagship models of whatever brand you prefer, you'll always get more for your money by upgrading your headphones or speakers than you will anything else.

Surely you dont need a flagship to hear a difference from a better dac/amp, but the HE-300s wont benefit from upgrading to a FiiO E10?
