I am not quite sure what I need, but I need to be able to run 2 computers into 1 set of speakers (computers with standard 3.5mm jacks, speakers have standard 3.5mm jack). Do I need a special sort of amp/dac that takes essentially 2 inputs with 1 output? With the ability to be able to switch? Basically just need something cheap.

Bought these on whim, for your basic train ride to work I don't mind. But its far from being the best I have own.

First, I should note that I auditioned these both straight out of the box, without any break-in time and then later after 53 hours of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite...

A very all-round headphone for me. Just the right one to take on the go or on holiday. Also as a DJ, nice noice isolation. Very durable so you don't have to wonder if it will break if you throw...

I auditioned the SRH-1840 straight out of the box, and was unsatisfied with the sound, so I decided to give them a period of break-in. Recent scientific studies have shown definite differences...

Every cable ive seen like that, it splits it up into 1 mic, and 1 speaker. And it should be 2 male 1 female. Ive gotten one in, but like I said, one end is for the mic, one is for the speaker.
I didnt think there even was a cable solution, I thought I needed some sort of dac or amp.

Can't post an eBay link here but search for:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)
3.5mm Stereo Audio Y Splitter 1 Female to 2 Male AV Cable 6 inch 15cm new
on ebay.com. The first one should be right and w/o mic.

Look up This;
Behringer MINIM0N MON800 or this C Control by Samson.
I use the MON800 for the exact purpose you've asked about. Around 40-60 bucks US last I checked.
