I recently bought a pair of wireless Sennheiser RS 170s for use watching late night television.

I've been thrilled with them thus far.  The sound quality exceeded my expectations, and I find them very comfortable -- they may be the most comfortable headphones I've ever worn.  They don't "clamp" tightly around my head, and they're very light (I believe they're 7.6oz not counting the batteries).

I'd like a pair of closed back, wired headphones that are as light-weight, comfortable, and good-sounding as these.  I thought, "I'll just get a pair of wired Sennheisers."  But I tried the HD 380 Pros, and found them heavy and relatively uncomfortable (squeezed my head).

A few other notes:

  • I'm not an audiophile or a musician -- just someone who likes listening to music while they work.
  • I listen mostly to rock (70%), classical (20%), and spoken word (10%)
  • I have some wired headphones for everyday listening right now: B&W P5's.  I love them.  I think they sound great.   But I use them at home for listening for maybe and hour or two at a time.  I'd like a second set of headphones to keep at my work desk, where I'll wear them for extended periods, so comfort takes the top priority.
  • I'm willing to spend up to $300 - 350.

Any suggestions?  Thanks in advance!
